Fitch Issues Presale Report on Rental Car Finance Corp., Asset-Backed Notes, Series 2006-1

NEW YORK--March 20, 2006--Fitch has issued a presale report on the Rental Car Finance Corp. (RCFC), rental car asset-backed notes, series 2006-1, discussing the rating analysis behind Fitch's expected ratings on the offered notes. The notes, which represent the ninth rental car term securitization offered by RCFC, will benefit from a financial guaranty insurance policy provided by Ambac Assurance Corp. (Ambac). The insurance policy ensures full and timely payment of monthly interest and ultimate payment of principal by the legal final distribution date.
