SPX Service Solutions Selected By Harley-Davidson As Supplier for Digital Technician Global Diagnostic System

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 20 -- SPX Corporation today announced that Harley-Davidson Motor Company has selected its Service Solutions business as the global supplier to support Harley- Davidson's Digital Technician (DT) diagnostic system.

The Digital Technician diagnostic system was originally launched in the fall of 2001, and since that time has evolved to become Harley-Davidson's platform to support diagnostics globally. The Harley-Davidson DT system now includes a PC-based laptop with pre-loaded diagnostic software and a vehicle interface module allowing Harley-Davidson technicians to read parameter data. Harley-Davidson technicians can quickly access various applications from a Graphical User Interface (GUI) with icons to streamline motorcycle service diagnostics.
