Senior Commercial Vehicle Industry Executives to Meet in Amsterdam June 28-29, to Discuss Euro 4&5 Emissions Regulations and Business Strategies for Euro 6

LONDON, March 20 -- Integer Research Ltd, a business intelligence company, will host the second annual diesel emissions strategy conference in Amsterdam this June 28-29. The conference, titled "Euro 5&6" will raise the topical issues of how new European heavy-duty diesel emissions regulations (known as Euro 4&5) are impacting truck manufacturers, equipment & fuel suppliers and commercial vehicle operators. This year's conference also looks ahead to discuss the new technologies and business models that will enable the transport industry to embrace further emissions reductions as Euro 6 regulations are drafted.

The conference programme features many of the leading decision-makers in emissions strategy, representing truck manufacturers, oil companies, AdBlue suppliers, governments and parts manufacturers. The keynote presentation will be delivered by Bernhard Heil, DaimlerChrysler's Vice President of Product Engineering Systems Powertrain.

Euro 5&6 will address the increasingly important subject of harmonisation between European and North American standards. The US Environment Protection Agency will present its outlook and Eaton Corp will reveal next-generation emission control strategies for Euro 6 and EPA 2010.

AdBlue - the urea-based fluid used in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) vehicles - has become a significant subject for truck operators and fuel suppliers: how and where will it be available? At what cost? The world's major AdBlue suppliers will come together at Euro 5&6 in a series of exclusive presentations and panel discussions to lift the lid on supply, pricing, quality and diagnostics. They'll be joined by many of Europe's major diesel suppliers, including Shell and Total. And public transport operator TRANSDEV will discuss its experience of introducing Euro 4&5 vehicles on busy transport routes.

The Euro 5&6 'platinum' conference sponsors are Air1, Yara and Brenntag. The 'gold' sponsor is Dureal. The exhibition area will feature major suppliers to the automotive, fuel and transport industries. Euro 5&6 is the independent meeting place for senior executives who need to keep their finger on the pulse of emissions regulations and understand the long-term implications for their commercial operations and technological development strategy.
