Precision Tune Auto Care Teams Up With First African-American Driver to Attempt to Qualify for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup in 20 years

LEESBURG, Va., March 17 -- This weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, NASCAR fans will see something that has not occurred in a generation of drivers, as Bill Lester attempts to become the first African- American driver to start a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race in 20 years.

The event will be the culmination of a life-long quest that has enabled Lester to compete at various levels of racing, including being a full-time competitor in NASCAR's Craftsman Truck Series. A major part of making the jump to the NEXTEL Cup Series, as is true for all drivers, is sponsor support. In addition to Lester's primary sponsor, Waste Management, Lester will be supported by a major associate sponsor, Precision Tune Auto Care. The relationship has historic significance at another level for the 30-year company, since this is not only Precision Tune Auto Care's first sponsor relationship with Lester, but also their first foray into any type of racing sponsorship.
