DaimlerChrysler Names Ralph Gilles Vice President-Jeep/Truck and Component Design, Chrysler Group
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 15 -- Effective April 1, Ralph Gilles will be promoted to Vice President - Jeep/Truck and Component Design, Chrysler Group. Gilles, who served as Director - Truck Studio since 2005, will replace retiring Ricardo (Rick) Aneiros.
Gilles has held roles of increased responsibility since joining Chrysler Group in 1992. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Transportation Design from the Center for Creative Studies and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
"Ralph has emerged as a true talent not only in our organization but in the automotive design community," said Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President - Design, Chrysler Group. "He is a reflection of the company's positive momentum and its deep bench of talent."
Aneiros joined Chrysler Corporation in 1969 as a Product Stylist - Interior Styling and most recently was named Vice President - Jeep/Truck, Component Design, DaimlerChrysler Corporation in 1999.

"The industry has seen many changes since I started, but the professionalism, creativity and friendships I have experienced have been constant and consistent."
