NHRA's Nitro Funny Car Division Pedregon

 
(DETROIT): Tony Pedregon, driver of the Q Power Monte Carlo in NHRA's Nitro
Funny Car division, and his wife Andrea welcomed a new, healthy race fan to
their family on Wednesday afternoon, March 2, 2006. Desidario (Desi)
Pedregon, was born into this racing family in time to celebrate his famous
father's birthday on March 8th. Desi is the younger brother to the
Pedregon's daughters, Cecily and Arielle.
 
In 2005, Tony Pedregon and the Q Power Race Team finished 7th in points with
2 wins, was #1 qualifier three times and recorded the second-quickest
elapsed time in NHRA history at 4.680 seconds in Chicago.
