Rush Enterprises Promotes Scott Anderson and Steven Taylor

SAN ANTONIO, Texas--March 14, 2006--Rush Enterprises, Inc. , which operates the largest network of heavy-duty and medium-duty truck dealerships in North America and a John Deere construction equipment dealership in Houston, Texas, today announced the promotion of Scott Anderson to the position of Senior Vice President - Finance and Insurance and Steven Taylor to the position of Vice President - Medium-Duty Sales.

Mr. Anderson, who joined the company in May 20, 200605, has served as Vice President - Finance and Insurance since joining the company. Mr. Anderson previously served as manager of CitiCapital Ltd.'s continental European operations and has been involved in the transportation finance industry for 25 years.

Mr. Taylor has been the company's National Director of Medium-Duty Sales since April 2003. Mr. Taylor has been instrumental in the growth of the company's medium-duty truck sales since he joined the company. Prior to joining Rush Enterprises, Mr. Taylor was Executive Vice President of Hayes Truck Group in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Taylor worked with Hayes Truck Group for 13 years and has over 20 years experience in the medium-duty truck business.
