Budget Quiets the Query 'Are We There Yet?'

PARSIPPANY, N.J., March 14 -- Just in time for spring break, Budget is joining forces with National Geographic Kids to offer parents a fun way to educate kids and keep them entertained on road trips. Budget Rent A Car System, Inc. today announced that from now through May 1, 20069, 2006, customers who rent any vehicle for at least five consecutive days can receive a National Geographic Kids Family Road Trip Adventure Pack. The pack includes a backpack filled with magazines (two issues of National Geographic Kids and one issue of National Geographic Traveler), maps, games, stickers, postcards and geography flashcards. To receive the family pack, customers must register for the promotion online at http://www.budget.com/familypack, print out the coupon and present it at the counter when picking up the vehicle.

"There's no better time to learn about geography than when on a car trip with the family, visiting different areas," said Scott Deaver, executive vice president of marketing for Cendant Car Rental Group, parent of Budget. "And, there's nobody better at making geography fun than National Geographic Kids, an organization well-respected by parents for their longstanding commitment to geography education. By giving kids something fun to occupy their time while on the road, we think parents will at least postpone having to hear the age-old question, 'are we there yet?'"

"National Geographic Kids is committed to getting children excited about their world," said Rainer Jenss, vice president and publisher of National Geographic Kids. "Many of our experts and explorers cite family trips as being instrumental in shaping who they are today. We are delighted to team up with Budget to help families make the most of their travels and foster the explorer in all of us."

The family pack offer is valid for U.S. residents who rent at participating Budget locations in the United States. Customers must register for the promotion online at http://www.budget.com/familypack, print out the online coupon, complete a qualifying rental of at least five paid rental days during the promotion period and present the online coupon at the rental counter. Customers must have a Fastbreak or RapidRez Number to register and must use the number when renting. Offer valid while supplies last.
