AutoSoft Announces Integration With GM RIM
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa.--March 14, 2006--Dealer management system provider AutoSoft International - ASI said today that is DMS is GM RIM certified. Now all General Motors dealers using the AutoSoft DMS can fully transfer all necessary information from the AutoSoft DMS Parts Inventory module to the General Motors Retail Inventory Management (RIM) program. In addition to the processes for GM RIM, included in the AutoSoft DMS Parts Inventory module, Autosoft is also providing and installing two additional programs, the AutoSoft Data Utilities and Cyclone Interchange, at no additional cost.
AutoSoft Data Utilities extracts the GM RIM-specific information from the AutoSoft DMS Parts data and automatically shares that data with the Cyclone Interchange, which transports it to General Motors.
