RAMPY LEADS QUALIFIERS AT ORLANDO SPEED WORLD DRAGWAY
ORLANDO, Fla. - The first day of qualifying at Orlando Speed
World Dragway's NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event is in the books.
David Rampy (Piedmont, Ala.) leads in Comp Eliminator and Mike Gardner
(Haymarket, Va.) set the pace in Top Sportsman. In Super Stock Dave Layer
(Dayton, Ohio) is the No. 1 qualifier and Greg Rowe (Bridgeton, N.C.) is
atop the field in Stock Eliminator.
Racing continues Saturday and Sunday at Orlando Speed World
Dragway. Gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday with final qualifying and time
trials starting at 9 a.m. On Sunday, gates open at 8 a.m. and eliminations
start at 9 a.m.
Tickets for the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event are $25 each day.
Children 12 and under are admitted free with a paid adult. For more
