Plexus Systems Makes Room for its Growing Business

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 9 -- With a need to accommodate its growing business, Plexus Systems has acquired a neighboring office complex and will prepare the site for its expanded project management and software development teams. Plexus Systems, a provider of information software solutions, is the creator of Plexus Online, the first true on-demand performance manufacturing system.

The building -- at 1700 Harmon Road -- is located across from the Plexus data center and will provide 11,500 square feet of additional office space. The company acquired the building from Magna.

Plexus Systems will retain its state-of-the-art data center at 1731 Harmon, which will accommodate executive, sales, IT services and data center activities. The close proximity of the two buildings will help the company continue its high degree of integration and communication between development and implementation of software solutions and Plexus Online. The two buildings also will be connected with a high-bandwidth wireless communication system.
