PSA Peugeot Citroën Presents Best Supplier Trophies

Paris - March 9, 2006: For the second year in a row, PSA Peugeot Citroën has presented its Best Supplier Trophies, designed to showcase its excellent relationships with suppliers. Trophies were awarded to suppliers committed to partnering with the Group to drive greater shared efficiency, and whose performance in 2005 met the Group's high standards.

PSA Peugeot Citroën Chairman Jean-Martin Folz, Executive Committee members and Jean-Philippe Collin, Vice-President Purchasing, presented Trophies in four categories that the Group considers critical: quality, innovation, parts and services, and cost performance.
Criteria for each category include:
- For quality, a commitment to delivering quality at each stage of the vehicle project life cycle and to proactively responding to exceptional situations.
- For innovation, the ability to design and develop reliable, practical innovations that appeal to customers.
- For parts and services, service quality in complying with deadlines and order amounts of replacement parts delivered to dealerships.
- For cost performance, technical savings achieved in 2005 and sources of savings foreseen for 2006.
PSA Peugeot Citroën was again France's biggest purchaser in 2005 with a total procurement budget of €29 billion. Today, 50% of series purchases are sourced from 19 suppliers. The supplier panel comprises companies in nearly 46 countries, reflecting the Group's sustained international development and its commitment to leveraging the best skills and capabilities from around the world.
