Chevron Introduces New Metalworking Fluids; Chevron HiPerCUT and Texaco Aquatex Available in Full and Semi-Synthetic Blends
SAN RAMON, Calif.--March 8, 2006--Chevron Products Company, a leading provider of engine oils, lubricants, coolants and related services, today introduced two new metalworking fluids - one a full-synthetic and the other a semi-synthetic - to its line of industrial lubricants. The products, to be marketed as Chevron HiPerCUT(TM) and Texaco Aquatex(TM), offer extended machine tool life and corrosion protection in a bio-stable emulsion."Chevron's HiPerCUT and Aquatex products work exceptionally well on exotic metals, like those used in the aerospace industry," said Kathy Johnson, industrial specialist, Chevron Products Company. Chevron HiPerCUT 6110 and Texaco Aquatex 6110 are low oil semi-synthetic, water miscible metalworking fluids that produce an ultra stable micro emulsion and are free from secondary amines, providing excellent long life performance. The products are well suited to most chip forming processes including sawing, turning, milling, drilling. General purpose surface, cylindrical and centerless grinding can also be undertaken.
Chevron HiPerCUT 6110 and Texaco Aquatex 6110 offer excellent performance on cast iron and are considered suitable for machining a wide variety of materials including low to medium tensile steels.

Availability
