Federal Signal Corporation Announces Appointment of Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer

OAK BROOK, Ill., March 7 -- Federal Signal Corporation Federal Signal Corporation announced the appointment of Paul Box, 52, to the position of vice president and chief procurement officer, effective Monday, March 13, 2006.

Box joins Federal Signal from Newell Rubbermaid, Inc. where he served as group vice president of procurement, and in the leadership role for their enterprise-wide global sourcing initiatives. Prior to this, Box served as director of corporate procurement for Compaq Computer Corporation. Previously, he served as manager of procurement for Motorola Corporation. He has held a variety of other procurement positions of increasing responsibility throughout his twenty-seven year career in his profession.

Box holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas.
