EPA will hold three one-day hearings to gather public comment on two proposed rules - "National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Particulate Matter" and "Revisions to Ambient Air Monitoring Regulations." These proposals were published in the Federal Register on Jan. 17, 2006 (71 FR 2620 and 71 FR 2710). The hearings will be held concurrently in Chicago; Philadelphia; and San Francisco, on March 8, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (local time) at the following locations:
