HARPERS FERRY, W.Va.--March 6, 2006--Bob McKeithen, program manager for the West Virginia Motorcycle Safety Program, today announced that Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCourses will begin at seven training sites across the state the first week in April.

"We encourage all riders to get trained," McKeithen said. "By doing so, we believe motorcycle crashes can be reduced in our state."

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation offers training near Beckley, Charleston, Fairmont, Moundsville, Martinsburg, Morgantown, and Parkersburg under contract with the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles.

McKeithen said that additional information on motorcycle training in the state is available by calling the program's toll-free number, 866-355-9399, to get specific site details and to sign up for courses.
