BARTOW, Fla.--March 6, 2006--American Commerce Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:AACS) today announces a new president to head its wholly owned subsidiary, International Machine and Welding, Inc.

Daniel L. Hefner, CEO and President of ACS today announced, "The Board of Directors of ACS is pleased to announce the promotion of Don Harrison as President of International Machine and Welding, Inc. Mr. Harrison has a wealth of knowledge and experience to lead IMW. Don has been a vital part of the IMW family for over 19 years in various capacities, most recently as General Manager. He currently has full P&L responsibility and has been instrumental in sales development. Don's experience in mining machinery and processes, including gasification, make him an excellent choice for this position in light of the company's anticipated direction change. He is highly respected by the rank in file and his peer management. I look forward to working with Don to implement the IMW business plan."

The vacancy being filled by Mr. Harrison was created by the voluntary resignation of former president, John Shearer, due to prolonged illness. The company expressed its appreciation for Mr. Shearer's valuable service to the company.
