Former CarMax Executive, Tim Zierden, Named Vice President of Trading Operations of lanelogic

DALLAS--March 1, 2006--lanelogic, the used-vehicle trade network that uses real-time sales data to conduct electronic trading between automotive dealers nationwide, today announced Tim Zierden as Vice President of Trading Operations. Zierden, while in his capacity as Regional Vice President of CarMax, worked to create a new industry standard in inventory management and used-vehicle procurement systems. As VP of Trading Operations for lanelogic, Zierden oversees the development of the Wall Street-inspired trade floor.

Bruce Thompson, lanelogic founder and CEO, said, "Tim is an experienced business leader, and his credentials in the automotive industry are extraordinary. Tim not only brings knowledge of inventory management and trading, but will lead efforts to maintain the highest standards of business conduct in automotive trading."

Zierden comes to lanelogic with more than 14 years of automotive industry experience. His accomplished career has been in accelerating top line growth for automotive companies and partners in multiple facets. Zierden most recently worked as a consultant creating distribution and logistics processes for startup companies. Zierden served as General Manager for a dealer group of ten stores, reorganizing management practices to increase dealership production. Before that Zierden experienced consistent career advancement through CarMax, where he grew with the company from a single retail store location to forty-four stores acquiring knowledge to revolutionize used-vehicle sales. Zierden holds a B.A. in History from University of Virginia.

"It's a great opportunity to be involved with lanelogic. This is the first time in the industry that a third party in this space has common goal alignment with the dealer. I believe our proprietary trading systems will enable us to offer premium bids within a few minutes, allowing the dealers in our network to close more deals faster. Our ability to help dealers stock their lots with guaranteed, fast turning, core inventory units will measurably increase the profitability of their used car departments," said Zierden.

About lanelogic

lanelogic is the used-vehicle market-maker that uses real-time sales data to conduct electronic trading between automotive dealers nationwide. lanelogic acts as a buying agent, discerning which used vehicles specific dealerships are most likely to sell quickly for the optimal sales price, and which vehicles those dealerships should trade or send to lanelogic's Fresh Trade Auction. lanelogic's 45-day buyback guarantee on all lanelogic-provided vehicles means that lanelogic eliminates the high risks of aged used-vehicle inventory -- the single-greatest risk faced by automobile dealerships that buy, sell or trade used vehicles. Additionally, lanelogic reduces dealers' inventory risks by providing the nation's first Fresh Trade Auction site as an efficient alternative for those vehicles that cannot be matched to a franchise store.

Launched in November of 2005 in Dallas, Texas, and backed by Internet pioneer VB2, owned by $2.2 Billion Market Cap Copart, Inc. , lanelogic's credibility is bolstered by its leadership in the form of CEO Bruce Thompson, former CEO and founder of American Auto Exchange. Strategic Alliances with VB2, American Auto Exchange, American Broadcasting Company Auctions (ABC Auctions), SGS and Great American Insurance Group mean that lanelogic is uniquely positioned to gather the needed inventory intelligence, to deliver the industry's first, live guaranteed bid network.
