QuickSilver’s new ‘Titanium’ exhaust system for the Lotus Elise 111R /
Exige 2 offers all the benefits of a Titanium exhaust system that were
previously reserved only for the top levels of Motorsport where cost was
secondary to the pursuit of minimum weight and maximum performance.  

 

QuickSilver’s newest design brings the benefits of Titanium’s lighter
weight, durability and appearance to Elise & Exige owners who demand the
finest components. In addition, the system allows the speed and volume of
the exhaust gas flow to be increased, producing a noticeable improvement in
throttle response.  This is the ultimate choice in sports exhaust for this
vehicle. 

 

Key features include:

 

*       Unique crisp sound rising in proportion with rpm 

*       Dyno tests show a 6bhp improvement, more torque and better throttle
response

*       Huge weight reduction from rear of car - 60% lighter than stock -
To benefit all areas of performance

*       The standard factory system’s volume increases to 94dB and, even
though the tone changes, the volume remains constant.  

*       The QS Ti system is designed to meet the standard MSA scrutineering
test at 6125rpm which is 75% of max rpm - taken 1m @ 45ⅹ

*       The volume of the QS Ti system continues to rise towards 100dB at
maximum rpm after the VVT operates at 6200rpm

*       Great appearance.  All polished with larger trims   

*       Accelerated gas-flow draws heat away more efficiently to reduce
engine-bay temperatures 

*       Ultra-lightweight Titanium silencer casing with aircraft grade 304
austenitic stainless tube & tips bonded through intricate welding and
riveting

*       No cutting the undertray - Tail-pipes fit flush with the undertray
