JACKSON CENTER, Ohio, Feb. 28, 2006 -- Thor Industries, Inc. topped the ranking of Recreational Products and Services in The Wall Street Journal's Shareholder Scoreboard (February 27, 2006).
Thor achieved a 5 year average return of 52.7%, easily the highest, a 10 year average return of 29.2%, a 7 year average return of 33.3%, and a 1 year return of 9.4%.
The Shareholder Scoreboard ranks companies relative to others in their own industries. The returns are compound annualized total returns, including price changes and dividends. Overall, Thor was the 21st best performer out of 1,000 ranked companies in shareholder returns over 5 years. No other RV company was ranked by The Wall Street Journal, confirming Thor's stand-out performance once again.
