New Product 'PupHut' Takes Pet Safety to the Next Level - Dogs Now Have Shade and Protection While Riding in the Back of Trucks
SANDPOINT, Idaho, Feb. 28 -- Spring and summer are just around the corner and dogs everywhere will be out on the roads with their owners. Unfortunately, the conditions dogs face while riding in a truck bed can affect a dog's health and safety. PupHut was designed with these conditions in mind. When used with a proper-fitting harness and restraint, PupHut helps protect dogs from the elements and other dangerous conditions they are exposed to while riding in the bed of the truck. M4 Products, LLC has begun factory production of this new product that will help keep dogs safer and provide much-needed shade while traveling in truck beds.
Every year, many dogs die as a result of heat stroke or falling from the back of pickup trucks. When used with proper restraints, PupHut assists with creating a barrier that helps keep the dog from being thrown from the vehicle should the driver swerve to avoid an obstacle, brake suddenly, or even hit bumps in the road. Not only does PupHut protect them from many weather conditions and road hazards, it also provides much-needed shade from the sun. Also, wind can cause debris to become lodged in the dog's throat, or affect its eyes, ears or nose at speeds of 15 mph and up. PupHut can keep the dog from hanging its head off the side of the pickup truck where harmful wind can cause injury.
The innovative, patent pending all-weather PupHut fits most full-size pickup trucks without the need of tools or any alteration of the pickup bed and can be removed in seconds when not needed. PupHut can be installed on trucks with the inside measurements from bedrail to bedrail of 61.25 inches to 65.5 inches. In addition, when installed it is 17 inches high from the top of the bedrail to the top of the PupHut to accommodate large dogs and most commercially available pet crates. PupHut is now available in Mossy Oak(R) in addition to standard black.
About M4 Products, LLC
Russ and Wendy Moen, founders of M4 Products, LLC and the inventors of PupHut had always enjoyed taking the dogs along for outings until a near fatal incident involving their German Shorthair being thrown over the side of the truck. That incident, along with the huge need for dogs to be protected from the damaging exposure to the sun, has led PupHut where it is today.
