Scheckter, the son of 1979 Fomula One champion Jody Scheckter, finished ninth in IndyCar Series points in 2005 with Panther Racing and scored his second career victory at Texas Motor Speedway in June. * Ed Carpenter, driver of the No. 20 Vision Racing Dallara/Honda/Firestone, returns for his second season with Vision Racing. Carpenter shined at the first test of the 2006 season at Phoenix International Raceway by recording the eighth-best time of the test. It was his first test working with Scheckter as his teammate. * Actor Patrick Dempsey joined Vision Racing's ownership team earlier this year. Known as Dr. Derek Shepherd on the current ABC hit drama "Grey's Anatomy," Dempsey is also an auto racing enthusiast.
