Goodyear Named Penske Truck Leasing 'Supplier of the Year'
AKRON, Ohio, Feb. 24, 2006 -- Penske Truck Leasing Co. has named The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company its Supplier of the Year - the first time the tire company has ever won the overall award.

According to Penske's vendor quality rating, Goodyear was rated first among all suppliers. The company has received the transportation service provider's Tire Supplier of the Year for six consecutive years.
Goodyear, Penske's primary supplier of replacement and retread tires in North America, also provides fleet management tools to lower overall tire costs.
