Westinghouse Digital Partners with Team Rensi Motorsports and Becomes Official Electronics Supplier; Leading Display Company Provides LCD TVs and Monitors for NASCAR Races
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif.--Feb. 24, 2006--Westinghouse Digital Electronics, one of the top five LCD TV companies in North America(a), and Team Rensi Motorsports today announced a partnership in which Westinghouse Digital will become its official "Digital Electronics Supplier," providing the team with LCD HDTVs, LCD monitors and technical support in exchange for exclusive product placement, branding opportunities as well as logo placement on both the Marines, no. 25, and McDonald's, no. 35, team race cars. Team Rensi Motorsports races in the NASCAR Busch Series Racing Season, competing on Feb. 25 at the California Speedway in Fontana, Calif.The Westinghouse LCD TVs and monitors, used to display the race for fans and crewmembers, will update outdated displays. Several TVs will be mounted in the "pit box" for pit fans and guests to view the race. The crew chief will also use 19-inch LCD monitors placed in the pit boxes to communicate with the driver. In order to make pit stops more efficient, the stop is videotaped and the LCD monitors will be used to playback the stop in order for the pit crew to make improvements.
Westinghouse 19-inch LCD monitors will also be placed on top of the racing equipment in crew and driver meeting areas to improve the driver's performance and will be used on two team transporters and two simulator show cars.

This season's first Busch Series race took place at the Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 18, 2006. The season includes 35 races and runs through November. The Westinghouse logo will be placed on the lower rear quarter panel, in front of the rear tire.
