Washington DC February 23, 2006; The AIADA newsletter reported that Dublin, Ohio-based Midwestern Auto Group has paid for exclusive rights to sell vehicles made by China's Chery Automobile Co, reports The Columbus Dispatch. About 50 U.S. dealerships have signed similar agreements, and another 30 to 40 are in talks, according to entrepreneur Malcolm Bricklin's company Visionary Vehicles, which has spearheaded Chery's move to the states. Bricklin hopes the vehicles will be on dealer lots next year.
