The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company Names New Chief Marketing Officer
FAIRFIELD, Ohio--Feb. 2, 20063, 2006--The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company (Ohio Casualty) today announced that Jerry Mallicoat has been named senior vice president and chief marketing officer of the company, effective March 20, 2006. Ohio Casualty Corporation is the holding company of The Ohio Casualty Insurance Company,Mr. Mallicoat, 45, comes to Ohio Casualty from Wellpoint (Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield), Cincinnati, OH, where he had served as vice president of central region marketing since 2001. Prior to that time, he was marketing communications manager for Medical Mutual of Ohio, and formerly, held marketing positions with various firms, primarily in the health care field.

Mr. Mallicoat holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. He is currently a member of the Governor's Business Council for Healthy Ohioans and the American Marketing Association.
