Appointment: Change in Executive Board of Continental AG
HANOVER, Germany, Feb. 22, 2006 -- Meeting today, the Board of Supervisors has appointed Mr. William L. Kozyra deputy Executive Board member. The appointment takes effect immediately. Kozyra, 48, is president and CEO of Continental Teves Inc., Auburn Hills, MI, USA, in which capacity he is responsible for the Automotive Systems division's NAFTA business. His appointment underscores the growing significance of this region for Continental and demonstrates the company's strong international orientation, now reflected at the Executive Board level as well. The appointment of Kozyra, gives Continental an Executive Board member in North America to represent its interests locally in dealings with key OE customers located in the region. Kozyra shall continue to report to Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann, who is in charge of the Automotive Systems division at Continental AG.
