DURA Automotive Names Timothy Stephens as President of Atwood Mobile Products Division
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich.--Feb. 2, 20061, 2006--DURA Automotive Systems, Inc. , today announced the promotion of Timothy C. Stephens, 45, to president of the company's Atwood Mobile Products division, effective March 6, 2006. Stephens will succeed Al Liddell, who is leaving Atwood to pursue other opportunities. The Atwood division is a leading $380 million designer and manufacturer of recreation vehicle (RV) and specialty vehicle products."We look forward to Tim's continued contributions in his new capacity as president of the Atwood Mobile Products division and as an officer of DURA," said Larry Denton, chairman and chief executive officer of DURA Automotive. "Tim is a seasoned executive with significant automotive industry experience that will help him successfully lead our Atwood organization."

Stephens has served as vice president and general manager for DURA's North American shifter and cable systems operations since 2003. Prior to this, he was responsible for 13 of the company's manufacturing facilities in DURA's European Control Systems operations. In this position, Stephens successfully developed a highly motivated customer-driven team focused on improved customer satisfaction, profitability and growth. Stephens joined DURA in 1988 and has extensive experience in operations management, quality, product development and sales.
