EWI Names Two Vice Presidents
Harvey Castner and Phil Weisenbach Accept Positions as Vice Presidents and Officers of the Board
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 16 -- EWI announced today that Harvey Castner and Phil Weisenbach have been named as Vice Presidents of the company and appointed as Officers to its Board. Weisenbach also assumed the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer.
Harvey Castner was elected Vice President of the company's Government Program Office. Harvey continues to be responsible for Government sales and the operation of EWI's Navy Joining Center. This follows Harvey's recent professional accomplishments as an American Welding Society (AWS) Fellow and recipient of the National Meritorious Award and the Health and Safety Award from AWS.
Phil Weisenbach was promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from his previous position as Director of Engineering Operations and Industrial Sales. This position formally combines his responsibilities for these divisions of the company.
