Modine Announces New Leader for Electronics Cooling Subsidiary and Renewed Focus on Profitability
RACINE, Wis.--Feb. 1, 20065, 2006--Modine Manufacturing Company , a world leader in developing thermal solutions for a diversified group of markets including truck, off-highway, automotive, engine, building HVAC and electronics cooling, announced today a new leader for its electronics cooling subsidiary, Thermacore International, Inc.Thomas G. Cromwell has been promoted to General Manager of Electronics Cooling, based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Cromwell will be in charge of all aspects of global electronics cooling from manufacturing, engineering, technology, sales and marketing. He brings to the job 11 years of experience at Modine in a number of managerial assignments, most recently as the Managing Director of the Heavy Duty Division of Modine Europe in charge of several European facilities. Before that Cromwell was Modine's Operations Manager for the European Automotive Division.

He has a strong operational background and will work in this very competitive market to renew the focus on our customers and attention to operational performance," said Jim Rulseh, Modine Group Vice President in charge of electronics cooling.
Prior to joining Modine, Cromwell held the title of Vice President of Operations at Air Systems Components, owned by Tomkins PLC. His responsibilities included integrating acquired companies into the current system, managing global groups with multiple facilities, and product development.
In addition to Cromwell's move, Leo Kulmaczewski has been promoted to the position of Operations Manager for Electronics Cooling, focusing on Modine's facility in Hsin-Chin, Taiwan. Kulmaczewski, who was Modine's Operations Manager for the North American Automotive division, will be based in Taiwan, and will be concentrating on making improvements in manufacturing processes and other business systems. Kulmaczewski has a broad background in electronics manufacturing operations including prior assignments as Manufacturing Manager at Motorola, and General Manager and Plant Manager at Honeywell.
"With these additions and a new plant manager in Taiwan, we have strengthened the operations side of our electronics cooling business. This new team will also continue to explore options for transferring our heat pipe technology to the automotive industry for electronics cooling in automobile applications," added Rulseh.
