Rockwell Automation Statement on Indemnification for Rocky Flats Jury Award

MILWAUKEE--Feb. 1, 20065, 2006--A federal jury in Denver yesterday awarded damages to Colorado property owners. Rockwell International (a predecessor to Rockwell Automation ), was one of the defendants in the case. This dispute dates back to the 1980's and Rockwell Automation, Inc. is no longer involved in defense-related businesses. The company stated that under Rockwell International's contract with the Department of Energy, it will be indemnified by the United States government for the verdict and other costs associated with the case.
