Superior Industries Awarded Seven New Wheel Supply Programs By Ford Motor Company; Wins Include Popular Ford, Lincoln and Mercury Models
VAN NUYS, Calif.--Feb. 1, 20065, 2006--Superior Industries International, Inc. announced today that it has won seven new and replacement aluminum wheel supply programs from Ford Motor Company.Superior was awarded contracts to manufacture aluminum wheels for the 2006 Lincoln Town Car/Mercury Grand Marquis, the 2006 Ford Five Hundred, the 2006 Ford Freestyle, the 2006 Mercury Montego, and the 2006 Mercury Mountaineer. These contracts represent a combination of new and replacement business.
Superior also won contracts to manufacture a new line of 16, 17 and 18-inch aluminum wheels for the 2006 Ford Explorer and the 2007 Ford Sport Trac. These programs replace previous supply agreements.
