22 Year Old Company Mattman Specialty Vehicles, Inc. Adds New Management
SAN MARCOS, Calif.--Feb. 1, 20065, 2006--Mattman Specialty Vehicles, Inc. In a recent reorganization of duties, John Mattman, who has served as President and CEO since 1991, becomes the Chairman of the Board and Barrie Cropper, the COO, takes over as Chief Executive Officer.Barrie Cropper today announced that Bob Egginger has joined the company in the role of Corporate Controller and VP Finance. This is a new position and Bob joins a senior management team with over 90 years of combined industry experience. Mattman Specialty Vehicles, Inc. Sales for fiscal year end 7/31/05 totaled approximately $10 million, a 57% increase over the prior year. In addition, its existing nine-month backlog of $14 million should result in a growth rate of over 40% in the current year. The Company projects completing this fiscal year with a minimum of $14 million in gross revenues and an earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization ("EBITDA") of $1,000,000.
Management estimates its market opportunity to be approximately $850 million per year and growing, with its core law enforcement and military market comprising over half that amount. Mattman has established an enviable reputation in the specialty vehicle business by providing the finest quality specialty vehicles for over a decade. The Company has 66 full time employees, and it expects to expand to a total of 80 employees by the end of this fiscal year. Mattman's production facility is located in San Marcos, Calif., which is in north San Diego County. A new 29,000 square foot building houses all aspects of its manufacturing process except painting.
