A   Feb. 19 - Daytona 500 at 2:30 p.m. EST (200 laps, 500 miles)

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Media Opportunities

*      Nextel Wake-Up Call

On Friday, Feb. 17, at 10:30 a.m. EST, the Nextel Wake-Up Call will
feature team owners Bill Davis, Robert Yates, Richard Childress and
Richard Petty for a question-and-answer session in the deadline media
room. 

Nextel Wake-Up Call audio will be available on www.nascarmedia.com

in the media center.

Nextel FanZone

*      New Sprint Nextel Product to Revolutionize Fans' Access

Last week at media day, Sprint Nextel and NASCAR unveiled the NASCAR
NEXTEL FanView and created a buzz within the industry.  This Friday at
Daytona International Speedway the next-generation scanner will be
available to fans to rent for the first time at all TrackScan locations.

With NASCAR NEXTEL FanView, fans at the track will be able to watch the
in-house race broadcast; live in-car video feeds from up to seven
different drivers; real-time race data; priority scanning and an
exclusive audio replay feature.

*      Sprint's Tribute to America Features Rock Sensation Bon Jovi

 

As a continuation of Sprint Nextel's sponsorship of Bon Jovi's "Have A
Nice Day" tour, the legendary rock band will headline the Sprint Tribute
to America concert live on NBC prior to the start of the Daytona 500. 

 

Now in its third year, Sprint Tribute to America brings top entertainers
