Find Your Business Solutions at Automotive Logistics Europe 2006
LONDON, February 15 -- Through growth and development, Automotive Logistics Europe has expanded to become one of Europe's leading interactive industry conferences and this year, is set to pave the way for finding new business solutions in the dynamic logistics sector.
Every year, leading industry professionals meet to debate the latest innovations and challenges within the automotive logistics sector, but seldom do they have the opportunity to explore the possibility of solving these issues.
However, this year's event, to be held at Le Montreux Palace, Montreux, Switzerland, from 1 - 2 March, is set to change all that, giving manufacturers and tier suppliers the platform to debate their business limitations but also giving service providers the opportunity to present their innovative business solutions. The aim of the conference is to provide answers for the whole industry.
By addressing fundamental issues within automotive logistics through open panel discussions and key speaker presentations, delegates are encouraged to debate and find solutions. Michael Druml, Director Supply/Logistics, Magna Steyr, will examine the growing concept of lean logistics and how to achieve it, as well as the impact this revolution is having on automotive logistics.
Karl May, VP Logistics Planning and Transport Logistics, BMW, will debate globalisation, and the challenges of being a global player. Ray Runza, Director, Honda, will discuss the subject of service parts and how logistics companies can play their part in the distribution process.
Additional speakers include: Michael Bomann, General Manager Vehicle Distribution Logistics, BMW, Egon Christ, Senior Manager Transportation Logistics Vehicles, DaimlerChrysler, Ray Maden, Manager, Supply Chain Logistics, Honda Motor Europe, Anthony Riordan, Material Handling & Packaging Engineering - Supervisor, Ford, Mike Sturgeon, General Manager Operations, Vehicle Logistics Group, Toyota Motor Europe to name a few.
As well as a new solutions-focused format, this year's conference agenda includes the locations showcase, which highlights the next location 'hot spots' for 2006, and the networking business breakfast. Old favourites are there as well: the highly informative specialist Finished Vehicle Logistics forum, the exclusive pre-conference cocktail reception and the exquisite gala dinner to be held at La Vieille Ferme restaurant in Montreux.
The aim of Automotive Logistics Europe 2006 is to inform, stimulate face-to-face dialogue, and encourage business collaboration with new partners, develop and extend synergies and address the issues that really matter.
