Detroit Diesel's Chuck Blake to Speak at Annual Technology and Maintenance Council Meeting

DETROIT, Feb. 14, 2006 -- Detroit Diesel Corporation's Chuck Blake, Senior Technical Sales Support Manager, will participate as a panelist at the 50th Annual Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Meeting on February 15, 2006, in Tampa, Florida.

The annual meeting, February 14 - 17 at the Tampa Convention Center, is organized by the Technology & Maintenance Council of the American Trucking Association. TMC's 2006 Annual Meeting will feature a special three-part primer on what fleet managers must know about 2007 diesel-powered trucks.

On February 15 at 8:45 a.m., Blake will join industry experts to provide perspective regarding EPA '07. Blake will discuss Detroit Diesel's readiness to meet EPA '07 in terms of engine development, services and applications. Blake will emphasize the company's development efforts for the three engines it will launch in 2007: the Series 60, MBE 900 and MBE 4000. And, he will stress the engine OEM's confidence in its product development, testing and preparedness program.

With more than 20 years of heavy-duty diesel engine expertise gained at Detroit Diesel, Blake is part of the company's Technical Services Support Team. In this capacity, he is responsible for the field launch of future components and products, including the 2007 engines, Axles, Transmissions and the 2010 engines. Additionally, he serves as Main Corporate Representative for TMC and has been actively involved in the organization since 1979.
