ASIMCO's Jack Perkowski to Join Former President Clinton, Michael Eisner and Carly Fiorina at the Global Business Forum

BEIJING, Feb. 13, 2006 -- Jack Perkowski, founder and CEO of ASIMCO Technologies Limited, will join former President Bill Clinton, former Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner and former Hewlett-Packard Chairman and CEO Carly Fiorina as a speaker at the "Global Business Forum - Thought Leadership" in Australia and New Zealand later next week.

Organized by Markson Sparks!, Australia's premier events organization, and based on the World Economic Forum held each January in Davos, Switzerland, the forum will take place in Sydney on Feb. 22, in Melbourne on Feb. 23 and in Auckland on Feb. 24.

Mr. Perkowski will be speaking on "How to do Business in China." He founded ASIMCO Technologies in 1994 and it is now one of the largest automotive components manufacturers in China supplying both the domestic and international markets. Under Mr. Perkowski's leadership, ASIMCO has established a reputation for developing local management in China and integrating a broad-based China operation into the global economy.

Mr. Perkowski received a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) from Yale University in 1970 and an MBA degree (with high distinction) from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1973 and was designated a Baker Scholar. Mr. Perkowski joined Paine Webber in 1973 and was the Director of Investment Banking when he left in 1988 to become the Managing Director of a leveraged buyout firm. In 1990, Mr. Perkowski began to research the concept of investing in Asia, leading to the formation of ASIMCO in 1994. Mr. Perkowski developed ASIMCO's industry approach and strategy for taking an active management role which has led to the formation of one of China's largest components companies, which sells to both the domestic and overseas markets.
