(Washington, D.C. - 02/10/06) EPA is encouraging public participation and comment at three public hearings to be held jointly for the proposed rules - "National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Particulate Matter" and "Revisions to Ambient Air Monitoring Regulations," which were published in the Federal Register on Jan. 17, 2006.  

The hearings will be held concurrently in Chicago, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, on March 8, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (local time) at the following locations:
