Sun Motor Announces New Product Development

HONG KONG--Feb. 10, 2006--Sun Motor International, Inc. (OTCBB:SNMO) announced that it is in the process of developing, in conjunction with a leading international auto parts manufacturer, an alternative process by which the longevity of an automotive fuel pump can be significantly increased over its operating life. In announcing this development, Simon Shi, CEO of Sun Motor, said: "Our client, one of the world's largest manufacturers of electronics for automotive applications, approached us with a request to develop an alternative method of fabricating the fuel pump armature to offset the corrosive effect of gasoline on the copper wire used in the coil, which, under normal circumstances, greatly shortens the life of the pump. Our technology involves the use of a carbon composite cover which has the effect of increasing the operating life of the pump by a factor of 3. This increase in longevity clearly has a significant impact on the efficiency of the pump component of the fuel delivery system. In addition to the obvious positive impact on the relationship with our client, this new pump will be priced at 200% higher than the existing technology pump."
