AmeriCredit Joins RouteOne
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Feb. 9, 2006 -- RouteOne LLC announced today that leading independent automotive finance company AmeriCredit Corp. has joined its credit application management system. RouteOne was developed by DaimlerChrysler Services, Ford Motor Credit Company, General Motors Acceptance Corporation, and Toyota Financial Services to offer dealers a single point of access to finance sources. RouteOne now offers dealers access to more than 50 lenders, including prime, sub-prime, and credit unions, and is actively working on full integration with 20 additional finance sources.
Based in Fort Worth, Texas, AmeriCredit Corp. has approximately 1 million customers, and $11 billion in managed auto receivables. The company purchases retail installment contracts entered into by auto dealers with consumers who are typically unable to obtain financing from traditional sources.
"AmeriCredit is an ideal partner for RouteOne. They are a preferred lending partner for many of our 20,000+ enrolled dealerships," said Mike Jurecki, RouteOne CEO. "They are committed, as is RouteOne, to outstanding customer service and satisfaction. We look forward to offering their services through our system."
"AmeriCredit is committed to broadening our market niche and growing our business by reaching additional dealer customers," said Preston Miller, AmeriCredit's chief operating officer for originations. "Joining the RouteOne platform will put us in contact with even more auto dealers across North America, which allows AmeriCredit to provide them with the superior service our company is known for."
By connecting 20,000 dealerships to more than 50 integrated finance source partners, the RouteOne system has set record application volumes every month since its June 2004 launch. The system, free to dealers, offers a wide variety of tools to assist the dealer in managing the day-to-day business, such as a detailed reporting suite, DSP integration, and credit bureau access, all within a single desktop application.
