Subaru to Offer XM(TM) and Sirius(TM) Satellite Radio on 2007 Model Year Vehicles

-- Subaru B9 Tribeca, Legacy and Outback models pre-wired for XM Satellite Radio -- Subaru Forester and Impreza models pre-wired for Sirius Satellite Radio

CHICAGO, Feb. 9 -- Subaru of America, Inc. today announced that it will offer XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio on certain models beginning with the 2007 model year. Customers will be able to order satellite radio as either a port install item or as a dealer-installed option. Both XM and Sirius will offer three months of complimentary service and waive activation fees for Subaru customers.

Beginning with the 2007 MY, Subaru will pre-wire all B9 Tribeca and most Legacy and Outback models with XM Satellite Radio. XM Satellite Radio will be offered as standard equipment on the 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca Special Edition. The Special Edition package features chrome wheels, chrome wire mesh grille and the XM Satellite radio as standard all for $1,295. XM offers more than 160 digital channels of music, news, traffic and weather programming.

Also beginning with the 2007 MY, Subaru will pre-wire most of its Forester and Impreza lineup with Sirius Satellite Radio. Subaru will also offer Sirius Satellite Radio as standard equipment on 2007 Subaru Outback Sport Special Edition models. Sirius offers more than 120 digital channels of music, news, traffic and weather programming.
