MicroTRAK Launches New Advertising Campaign to Expand Dealer and Market Awareness; Safety Theme Clarifies MicroTRAK Brand Image
DALLAS--Feb. 9, 2006--MicroTRAK GPS, Inc. (PINK SHEETS:MIOK), a leading provider of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technology and products, today announced its plans to debut a new advertising campaign showcasing its flagship line of AutoTRAK products.The 30-second advertising spots will run throughout the Spring 2006 season launching in February. The spots - 2,000 in total - will air throughout Arizona, California, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas during morning, daytime, primetime and late night programming. MicroTRAK will also be featured on select weekend line ups. The ads will air on networks such as CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox News, NBC, MTV, VH1, ESPN, UPN and E!
"It's MicroTRAK's intention to actively expand our marketing efforts further into radio, print and additional television investment oriented venues in the next 12 months," said founder and president Jerry Grisaffi. "As we begin broadening our reach beyond Texas, we see this advertising campaign playing a key role in helping increase awareness in other key markets, specifically those with higher rates of auto theft."
The new commercial will feature both the full line of AutoTRAK products highlighting the safety benefits of this new class of vehicle security system that combines advanced, proprietary GPS technology and a global digital wireless network with real-time tracking on the Internet.
Users of the AutoTRAK products can locate and track their vehicle at any time on the company's secured Web server. In less than 45 seconds, authorized users can view a password protected map showing the vehicle's exact location, direction of travel, speed and a history of movement.
