SPEEDFREAKS TV TO INVADE MOPAR DIRECT CONNECTION DISPLAY AT POMONA OPENER

Center Line, Mich. - SpeedFreaks are set to tape four shows from the 46th 
annual NHRA CarQuest Auto Parts Winternationals season opener at Pomona Raceway 
this weekend. Kenny Sargent, Crash Gladys, Statt Mann and Lugg Nuttz are poised 
to bring the Freak Nation to the Mopar Direct Connection display to kick off 
the 2006 racing season.  

SpeedFreaks will begin taping from the Mopar Direct Connection display on 
Thursday, February 9, from manufacturer's row in the display area at Pomona 
Raceway. Giving the Freak Nation a taste of California, the group will tape four 
shows, beginning at 10 a.m. PST. Featuring some of the hottest names in NHRA 
drag racing, the shows will air on Speed Channel in the coming months. 

Team Mopar racers expected as guests include Gary Scelzi, who is the 2005 
NHRA POWERade Funny Car Champion, and series runner-up Ron Capps. The Don 
Schumacher Racing NHRA Funny Car duo will be joined by the team's NHRA Pro Stock 
contingent, Richie Stevens Jr., and newly signed hotshoe Shaun Carlson. Other 
guests will include some of the biggest name in NHRA drag racing from today and 
yesterday. 

The first round of professional qualifying for the 46th annual NHRA 
Winternationals is scheduled for 2 p.m. PST on Thursday, February 9. Qualifying will 
continue on Friday and Saturday, February 10 -11, with the finals scheduled to 
begin at 11 a.m. PST on Sunday, February 12. 

SpeedFreaks can be heard every Sunday Night on the Freak Radio Network. The 
network houses over 80 radio stations across the United States, including such 
major markets at Los Angeles, Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit and Las Vegas.
