UAW National CAP Conference Feb. 5-9 in Washington, D.C.

More than 1,400 UAW political activists from across America will meet in Washington, D.C., Feb. 5, 2006 - 9 for the UAW National Community Action Program (CAP) Conference: Taking the High Road for American Workers." CAP is the political action arm of the UAW, which represents 1.2 million active and retired workers in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

All plenary sessions of the conference will be in the Marriott Ballroom, Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Road N.W., Washington, D.C. The conference is open to the news media.

  Sunday, Feb. 5

  5:45 p.m.  UAW President Ron Gettelfinger - Keynote Speech
