AutoPacific's 2006 Future Vehicle Survey to Determine Evolution of Cars and Trucks

TUSTIN, Calif., Feb. 3, 2006 -- AutoPacific, the noted automotive industry research firm, today announced it is launching its 2006 Future Vehicle Survey program. The survey, mailed to hundreds of thousands of owners of 2006 model year cars and trucks, and also available online, is a key component of the company's annual analysis for automobile manufacturers.

"Owners of recently purchased new cars and trucks will start receiving these surveys within a few days," reports AutoPacific founder George Peterson. "With the recent economic issues and the surge of new products introduced in recent months, we're eager to see what car and truck owners have to say about their rides."

As an incentive and to create added-value for individuals who respond to the survey, AutoPacific is offering a "participant sweepstakes" wherein a randomly selected individual will win car payments for a year ($6,000 total value). Details are included with the survey.

The responses provided by automobile owners are used in industry reports and are the basis for the company's annual Vehicle Satisfaction Award. The Vehicle Satisfaction Award is used by the auto industry to help communicate the excellence of top scoring vehicles and to adjust issues for cars and trucks that fall short of "best in class."
