Western Automotive Journalists' Media Days Set at Monterey
San Francisco, CA - February 2, 2006 -The members of Western Automotive Journalists (WAJ), North America's 2nd largest group of working automotive journalists, will once again descend on the Monterey peninsula for their 14th Annual Media Days event, on March 23rd and 24th.
Media Days allows all group members to drive and compare dozens of
vehicles, head-2-head, on an open road course and then on track at Mazda
Raceway Laguna Seca. It’s sort of like a reality version of using The
Auto Channel’s 4-Vehicle Compar-A-Graph
(Click http://www.theautochannel.com/newcardb/comparagraph.html).
The journalists also have the opportunity to put a wide selection of SUVs and off-road vehicles through their paces at Hollister Hills State Off-Road Park. It’s one of the rare times during the year that competitive car-makers and competitive media people get the chance to break bread, pal around, and kick each other’s tires; literally and figuratively.
