Flexpoint to Attend Annual Automotive Safety Summit

DRAPER, Utah--Jan. 3, 20061, 2006--Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:FLXT) today announced company executives will travel to Europe to meet with Tier One suppliers in France and Germany and attend the Annual Automotive Safety Summit.

Flexpoint's executives have scheduled meetings with automotive suppliers and manufacturers in France and Germany to further discuss and develop the Pedestrian Impact Detection System. These suppliers and OEMs are currently testing and analyzing the Pedestrian System to develop the protocol to move forward.

Later in the week Flexpoint will attend the Annual Automotive Safety Summit held in Berlin, Germany on February 16th and 17th. The Safety Summit focuses on the latest advances in passive and active safety technology and implementing the European Union's Pedestrian Safety regulations. Corporations and organizations attending the conference include Daimler Chrysler, Delphi, European Commission, European Transport Safety Council, Johnson Controls, Renault, Siemens VDO Automotive, Toyota, and TRW.

The Safety Summit connects the decision makers from leading automotive manufacturers and Tier One suppliers with technology providers focusing on specific issues facing the industry today. This presents Flexpoint with an opportunity to advance negotiations as well as present its technology to an expanded audience. In Europe the regulatory agencies have mandated pedestrian safety standards for all new vehicles, a top priority at this event.
