GDX Automotive Outsources MRO Purchasing to DSSI

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 31, 2006 -- GDX Automotive has signed an agreement with DSSI to outsource the procurement of its indirect materials. Implementation will start immediately at GDX's largest facility in Wabash, Indiana.

DSSI will provide GDX with a broad range of services, from sourcing to purchase-to-pay processing, to ongoing commodity management across more than fifteen indirect materials and services categories. GDX will leverage DSSI's integrated procurement infrastructure, which includes commodity sourcing experts, best-practice procurement processes and a comprehensive technology platform to maximize procurement cost savings and increase the efficiency of the procure-to-pay process.
