Get Ready For A New Austin Healey

London - January 28, 2006: An AngloAmerican consortium, identified as "HFI", just paid more than $1.5 million to three Healey family members for the rights to build a modern version of the classic Austin Healey 3000.

Prototypes have already been built and tested, and it's hoped that a public unveiling will take place later in 2006. The vehicle was last available in 1968.

The new Healey's would be built in either Wales or near Healey's spiritual home, Warwick in the Midlands.
