Littelfuse Expands Relationship with Polytronics Technology Corporation
DES PLAINES, Ill.--Jan. 2, 20067, 2006--Littelfuse, Inc. today announced that it has signed a new business cooperation agreement with Polytronics Technology Corporation that expands the relationship between the two companies. Littelfuse has a minority investment in Polytronics, a leader in polymer PTC circuit protection components. Headquartered in Taiwan, Polytronics has both design and manufacturing capabilities in China."The extended relationship with Polytronics is a good strategic fit for Littelfuse," said Gordon Hunter, Chief Executive Officer of Littelfuse. "As part of the agreement, we will work with Polytronics to jointly develop new PTC circuit protection products. The agreement also adds Polytronics' broad range of axial and radial PTC devices to our existing surface mount PTC offering and Littelfuse's extensive circuit protection product portfolio further enhancing the value we bring to our customers."
